2020 county fair

Due to the COVID - 19 virus and its social distancing guidelines we will not be hosting the horticultural activities at the County Fair this year. As an alternative we have partnered with the Fairgrounds to have the community drop off food donations at the fairgrounds and we the Rogue Gardeners of Josephine County will pick them up and deliver them to the food bank, the ROC or other food kitchens as needed. The fairgrounds is providing advertising and w will develop distribution details before the Fair. Click here  to see the initial flyer for the project.
The food drive donated $963 of vegetables and non perishable food items.
We also judged
Greenleaf's vegetables, flowers, potted plants and decorations after the scheduled Fair date on October 7th. Only the judges were present for the judging.
To provide selective gardening related community service, projects and gardening demonstrations while maintaining rewarding social relationships and activities.
